About Us

We are a group of community and university educators concerned with research into the history of education and history education. As a group we work to cooperatively build networks among academic and public historians, instructors of history and other history-oriented community organizations in order to undertake investigations, to solicit funding to support investigations, and to organize events for sharing and promoting research into history of education and history education. We explore the complexities of teaching and learning histories (for kindergarten to graduate school learners) and we explore the history of formal and informal education in shifting contexts.

We meet regularly on the third Monday of each month from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in the Education building at USask.  All interested people are welcome to join us!
