Sarah started as a PhD student in the Shoulder Health and Ergonomics Research Lab in the winter of 2025. She holds a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and an MHSc in Biomechanics from Ontario Tech University. More recently, Sarah has participated in research examining health care accessibility in her role as a Research Project Manager with the Health Sciences and Research Policy Institute (HSPRI) at Queen’s University.
Sarah’s PhD research will focus on the study of shoulder biomechanics among breast cancer survivors as well as among those seeking surgical based gender affirming care (top surgery). This research will assess shoulder function and pain development among the previously mentioned groups.
