After completing my MA thesis at the U of S, I co-authored (with Erika Dyck and others) the book Managing Madness: Weyburn Mental Hospital and the Transformation of Psychiatric Care in Canada, which was awarded the Canadian Historical Association’s Clio Prize for Prairie History in 2018. My work on the history of eugenics in Saskatchewan was published as part of the collection, Eugenics at the Edges of Empire: New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and South Africa.
