The PNSRG

The Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Sciences Research Group (formerly Drug Discovery and Development) is a collaborative research group in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition.

Our research programs span the basic and applied sciences, from understanding biochemical pathways involved in disease states and designing therapeutic strategies and formulations, to developing diagnostic methods and clinical interventions. 

We advance research leading to therapeutic applications for new and existing drugs as well as the discovery of bioactive compounds, such as found in Saskatchewan agricultural products.
