Marie Rogel PhD Student

Marie is a recipient of the University of Saskatchewan Dean’s Scholarship and the School of Environment and Sustainability PhD Excellence Scholarship. Connected with the TRANSdisciplinary Education Collaboration for Transformations in Sustainability (TRANSECTS) program, her research will apply a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning lens to explore the mentorship and learning of emerging transdisciplinary sustainability scholars and practitioners in the Global South and North.

Along with her doctoral program, Marie is pursuing the Graduate Certificate in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning through the Jane and Ron Graham Centre for the Scholarship and Teaching and Learning at the College of Education. A science communication professional, she holds a Master of Science in Sustainability, Culture, and Development from Durham University (England) and a Master of Environmental Studies from Tohoku University (Japan).
