Khaled has received his B.Sc. (2009) in chemical engineering and M.Sc. (2011) in chemical-environmental engineering both from Sahand University of Technology. After graduation, he worked for two years in the Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran as a research assistant and then worked as an environmental engineer in Tabriz Oil Refinery for five years. As a Ph.D. student, he is currently working on developing a Cost-Effective and Eco-Friendly approach for the removal of arsenic from water using locally available biomaterials.
