Yash is a bachelor's and master's integrated dual degree student (2016-21) in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. He was a part of the Soltan research group as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern in the summer of 2019 (May-August). His research interest lies in Environmental Catalysis and Pollution Abatement. As a part of the SOLTAN research group, he worked to synthesize and characterize a composite nanorod catalyst (Mn-RGO) for treating emerging pollutants in wastewater using catalytic ozonation.
