I'm an interdisciplinary scholar working on research areas that have focused on the link between food security and livelihoods, local approaches to resource management in urban and rural contexts, and regional and community-level planning approaches for sustainability.

Currently, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto's Department of Human Geography, where I work with Dr. Thembela Kepe on a project called "Has Canada’s MAG Project supported or undermined Indigenous and local farming knowledge in Ghana?" In this new role, I seek to explore how the recently completed “Modernizing Agriculture in Ghana (MAG)”(2017-2023) project has impacted smallholder farmers' knowledges in rural areas of the country, to inform and improve future Canadian-supported interventions in Ghana (and Africa more broadly).
