Agronomic Crop Imaging Lab

Created and managed by Dr. Steve Shirtliffe, the Agronomic Crop Imaging lab is a learning hub where agronomic research meets precision ag, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, and machine learning. Within the ACI, field technologists, MSc and PhD Candidates, Post-Docs, and computer technologists work together to create an innovative environment aiming to improve and discover all things agriculture. Whether the problem is weed control, land borders, drone flight patterns, satellite imagery, seeding rates, or disease management, Dr. Shirtliffe and his team use their collective knowledge sets and resources to develop solutions and explanations. Please explore this website to see the various research and advancements practiced within the Agronomic Crop Imaging lab.
