Originally an equestrian from Delisle, SK, Brianna Zoerb is now the drone operator for the Agronomic Crop Imaging Lab. She completed her Master’s degree with Dr. Steve Shirtliffe and Eric Johnson, focusing on utilizing UAV imagery with a multispectral and hyperspectral sensor to quantify lentil herbicide phytotoxicity to Group 14 and Group 5 products. She has a background in the ag industry doing small-plot research and has worked with the local grain commission companies (SaskWheat and SaskBarley). She also has experience working with a local start-up company as well as starting her own drone photography business where she captures farm aerials and weddings. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2016 from the U of S in the environmental sciences program at the College of Agriculture and Bioresources.
