Japjyot Sandhu BSc

Japjyot Sandhu is a Master's student working on detecting Bassia scoparia (kochia) at the field scale level using multi-temporal UAV imagery. Kochia is an herbicide-resistant weed, which makes it challenging to control in the field. Detecting kochia can aid in implementing better management practices. Jap's favourite part of the research in the ACI lab is meeting farmers and understanding how they manage their fields using different strategies.
