Lakma Rathuge BSc, MSc

Lakma Rathuge is a PhD student in the ACI Lab, where she joined in September 2022, driven by her passion for drone imagery and technology to understand and assess field-level challenges. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in plant biotechnology from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her research focuses on the physiological and digital phenotyping of Ethiopian mustard for drought tolerance. Her favorite part of her work is spending time with plants and enjoying the calm and peaceful atmosphere they create. In her spare time, Lakma enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends.
