Who we are?
We are an interdisciplinary network of Canadian-based researchers who are passionate about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research in order to promote the health and wellbeing of those living with IBD and improve IBD health service delivery.
We use qualitative, quantitative, and mixed research methods to answer research questions.
Our research is often patient and family-oriented meaning that patients and families are active and equal team members in our research.
What are our goals?
- To promote IBD-related research
- To provide opportunities for interdisciplinary, multi provincial collaboration in IBD research
- To connect with graduate students and trainees who are interested in IBD research
- To collaborate with individuals affected by IBD and their family members
- To connect with IBD stakeholders and IBD-related community and volunteer organizations
