Fernando Maldonado-Daza

Fernando Maldonado-Daza holds is a medical doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and holds a masters’ in public health from the University of Saskatchewan. He is currently working towards an MSc. in Community and Population Health Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan. His research thesis evaluates differences in direct healthcare costs between IBD patients exposed and non-exposed to an integrated model of care (IMC) and explores the impact of exposure to an IMC on health-related quality of life among individuals newly diagnosed with IBD. Fernando is also a certified SAS programmer (Base Programmer, Statistical Business Analyst, and Advanced Programmer certifications) and currently works for the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council as a Research Analyst.
