Ms. Shannon Boklaschuk

Ms. Shannon Boklaschuk lives with Crohn's disease and has served as a volunteer with the Saskatoon chapter of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada. In 2017, she was the honorary chair of Saskatoon’s Gutsy Walk fundraiser. Shannon became interested in patient-oriented and health-care research as a past employee at the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council and the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Medicine. She is currently employed as a communications officer at USask's College of Arts and Science. Prior to entering the communications profession, Shannon worked as a print journalist at Canadian newspapers and holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of King's College. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at USask's College of Arts and Science and a Master of Public Administration degree at USask's Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.
