Genome editing tools available to researchers at the University of Saskatchewan
Synthetic guide RNA programmed bacterial CRISPR-associated protein-9 nuclease (Cas9) is now recognized as a cutting edge technology to knock out any genes of interest. If you would like to KO your favorite gene(s), we can help you. Our lab carries unique guide RNAs for the complete human genome as individual arrayed clones. There is a cost associated with these services and may vary depending upon the project. However, our motto is to help you and promote genomics research in Saskatchewan. So if you BYOR (bring your own reagents), there is only a minimal maintenance/service cost associated with it. Please complete the intake form and we will be in touch.
