Hamid Rezaie
Biography
Hamid Rezaie was born in 1990 in Tehran, Iran. He received B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013, and M.Sc. (with First Class Honor) in Electrical Power Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, in 2017.
Hamid has more than 6 years of experience in computational and artificial intelligence areas such as fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, heuristic computation, and optimization techniques. He has done several research projects in different areas of power engineering, some of which are power system optimization and planning, renewable energies, distributed generations, demand-side management, FACTS devices, smart grids and microgrids, and power electronics converters. He is currently a PhD student working under the supervision of Prof. C. Y. Chung. at SMART Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan.
