Biography

Osama

Osama Aslam Ansari is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan. He is serving as a graduate research assistant at the Smart Grid and Energy Network (SMARTGEN) Lab, University of Saskatchewan. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan in 2015, and the MSc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada in 2017.

His research interests include power system security, power system reliability, energy storage systems, and microgrids.
