Biography

Gong
Dr. Yuzhong Gong is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, working with Dr. C.Y. Chung. 

Dr. Gong received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2010, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University in 2015. From Jan 2014 to July 2014, he was a visiting Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Texas at Austin, United States, collaborating with Dr. Ross Baldick.

Dr. Gong’s research interests include power system operation and optimization, renewable energy integration, energy storage applications, and high performance computing. He has published 3 SCI journal paper and 2 EI journal papers, and holds 2 Chinese patents.

Dr. Gong is currently a Member of IEEE, external reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Intelligent Industrial Systems.
