 Welcome to Dr. Saman Razavi's Lab, where we advance research and practice in water-human systems. Our lab focuses on understanding, modeling, and managing the intricate interactions between natural hydrology, engineered water systems, and socio-economic factors. We address critical challenges such as flood and drought risk, sustainable water resource management, and building resilience against water-related hazards. We also leverage cutting-edge technologies, including big data science and machine learning, to enhance our research and develop innovative solutions.

Dr. Saman Razavi received the Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for bridging hydrology, data sciences, and socioeconomics.
