This symposium was held on February 5, 2026 by the National University of Singapore (NUS). The symposium brought together leading researchers from the University of Saskatchewan and the National University of Singapore to share advances in biomedical engineering, regenerative medicine, and digital health. Attendees heard presentations on topics including silk-based bioprinting for nasal tissue engineering, advanced synchrotron X-ray imaging, 3D bioprinting and microfluidic approaches for oral health, engineered tumor explants, force shielding in bioprinted cartilage, extrusion bioprinting for tissue engineering, microtissue models for infectious disease research, wound-healing strategies, stem cell therapies for cartilage repair, digital longevity medicine, and biomaterials for extracellular matrix mechanobiology. The event also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers.
