Applied Ecotoxicology
About Us
We conduct applied studies on surface water quality and contaminant effects in aquatic systems affected by affected by industrial activity such as mining and milling, and large-scale agriculture. Using field, laboratory, and modeling approaches, we examine trace element and pesticide fate, bioavailability, and ecological risk in collaboration with industry and regulatory partners.
Applied Eco Tox Research
We study the behaviour and ecological impacts of trace contaminants in aquatic ecosystems, particularly in mining- and oil sands-affected environments. Our research advances sustainable environmental management and informs water quality guidelines.
