About Me
Dr. Kahan is a Full Professor and Canada Research Chair in Environmental Analytical Chemistry. She obtained a B.Sc. degree from the University of Regina and a PhD from the University of Toronto (working with Jamie Donaldson). Tara completed postdoctoral fellowships with John Hemminger (University of California Irvine) and Veronica Vaida (University of Colorado Boulder). After 6 years as an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, Dr. Kahan joined the University of Saskatchewan as an Associate Professor. Her major research areas are atmospheric chemistry in water and ice, and indoor chemistry.
