Dinesh Wellawa PhD🇱🇰/🇨🇦Dinesh was a postdoctoral fellow in the Sheldon Lab from 2022-2023. He investigated the role of histamine in Acinetobacter baumannii iron acquisition, and lactate in bacterial pathogenesis. He is an author on a Cell Host & Microbe paper for his efforts on the latter (PMID: 40020664). He is currently a postdoc with Dr. Wolfgang Koester at VIDO. |

She investigated iron acquisition and homeostasis in both Acinetobacter baumannii and Morganella morganii. She recently joined the lab of Dr. Richard Hamelin at UBC for her MSc. |
