New Purchases
Health Sciences Supply Centre
Health Sciences Supply Centre is located at Room B18 Health Sciences Building, University of Saskatchewan, 107 Wiggins Road. They carriy various laboratory products and order chemicals for all units on campus. To check their supply you may call 306-966-6166 or through their Inventory.
You can also order online through HSSC order form. To do so, you will need your NSID, a CFOPAL to charge to, and the name and Catalogue number of the desired chemcial. Please note that you should only submit chemcials from one and the same supplier in each order form.
Praxair
The common cylinder gases used in Biofabrication laboratory are Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Nitrogen (N2). These cylinders are constructed to DOT specifications 3A, 3AA, 3AL, or 3E. The minimum pressure rating for these cylinders is 1800 psi (12,410 kPa). Please make sure to replace the cylinders before then.
