The summer school will bring together 15-20 students from Germany, Canada, and South Africa to gain professional skills in transdisciplinary collaboration and research in sustainability science while working with Biosphere Reserve practitioners and communities.

Students for the summer school must be enrolled at Vancouver Island University, University of Saskatchewan, University of the Witwatersrand, Rhodes University, Leuphana University of Lüneburg, or Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. At the University of Saskatchewan, preference will be given to graduate students.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.
