UNESCO Chair in Biocultural Diversity, Sustainability, Reconciliation, and Renewal

I'm an interdisciplinary PhD candidate exploring the lives and knowledges of Indigenous farmers in rural Ghana who have relocated to places distinct (ecologically and socially) from their home territories. This work promotes and supports African Indigeneity and epistemologies for sustainable agriculture. My major research areas have focused on the link between food security and livelihoods, local approaches to resource management in urban and rural contexts, and regional and community-level planning approaches for sustainability.
