UNESCO Chair in Biocultural Diversity, Sustainability, Reconciliation, and Renewal

Stephanie Le Courtois is a Master of Environment and Sustainability (MES) student in SENS, supervised by Dr. Maureen Reed and Dr. Katherine Stewart (Soil Science). Stephanie’s MES research brings together First Nations, UNESCO-designated Biosphere Region and USask practitioners to explore the process of thoughtful and effective cross-cultural collaboration and land-based learning through ecological restoration initiatives.

Stephanie earned her B.Sc. in Renewable Resource Management from USask in 2022 and then worked in environmental consulting for over 2 years, also gaining her Articling Agrologist (AAg) designation, before starting her MES.
