Research Projects

  • Studying high entropy spinel oxides (HESO) using X-ray absorption and emission spectroscopy collected from the Canadian Light Source as well as Density Functional Theory calculations with WIEN2k.
  • Automating WIEN2k to allow it to run with minimal inputs from a jupyter notebook with the goal of allowing more users to easily use the program. Github: https://github.com/Cody-Somers
