After working out how to get the shipping crate open ... we now have a nice new fluorometer sitting in our wet lab!
This fluorometer can measure fluorescence, transmission, and lifetimes of excited states (via TCSPC). For now we can only measure lifetimes for molecules excited at 340 nm but that will be expanded as I buy more pulsed diode lasers!
This is the first time that I tried remote install for lab equipment and it worked remarkably well!
