International conference in Frankfurt

Darshi and I braved enormous jetlag and some synthetic chemistry by attending the Chem R&D (Advances in Chemistry Research and Development) conference in Frankfurt in April. It was a small but nice conference! Most of the participants from the U.S. gave remote talks, which was a shame!

I presented a talk on our recent pyrene work, while Darshi presented a poster giving a nice overview of her research on azulene. You can see her discussing these results in the top image (and doing a great job!).
