Ozra has won a Chemistry Department award

Ozra has won the 2024-2025 Professor C.C. Lee Memorial Bursary from the Department of Chemistry. Ozra demonstrated academic achievement in the area of organic chemistry and displayed finanical need.

Even though we're spectroscopists, the focus of our studies is on organic molecules and biomolecules. In the photo, Ozra is showing how to load her DNA/buffer samples into the SAXS beamline at the Canadian Light Source.

I'm so happy that Ozra won this award. She really deserves it! I'm just so proud of my group of wonderful students!
