Ozra's Departmental seminar
She gave a fantastic talk!
As shown in the image, Ozra presented on 'Folding and Utilizing DNA Origami Scaffolds to Create Favourable Molecular Interactions'. She gave a great overview of her PhD program, which includes developing the group's ability to fold DNA into structures, creating 3D DNA origami nanotubes, and using the DNA structures as scaffolds to control energy transfer between dyes. She also discussed designing DNA staples that could attach to metal nanoparticles and doing some photophysical characterization studies of molecules that undergo intramolecular charge transfer.
The seminar was expertly delivered and Ozra showed no hint of nerves!
