Wenlong has passed his defence!!!
The second member of my group has graduated in style!
Wenlong is now a 'Master of Science'!!! His thesis focussed on the laser spectroscopy of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, specifically pyrene and olympicene.
He is a fantastic experimentalist and spectroscopist, and I'm super proud of him!
Of course we celebrated with food! Jaydeep and Stephen ordered some fried chicken as Wenlong is not a cake conneisur!
Trying to get Wenlong to look happy is not an easy task!

More eating-related celebrations just before the Christmas break. This time we had lunch together at Marquis Hall at USask. Everyone found something they enjoyed and we toasted Wenlong's success!
