Johan has gone home!
Farewell and safe travels
Johan (our MITACS research intern) spent a very hard-working 12 weeks with us in Saskatoon. He has been able to figure out how to design a range of DNA shapes, to use MatLab to do some FRET calculations, to do some DFT calculations, and start on an image recognition program for our microscopy images. He even spent some time folding DNA in our experimental lab!
As a thank you, we had a little get together in the student office (with cake, of course, and some home-baked goodies from Darshi!).
From L to R: Ozra, Sandra, Darshi, Johan, Amy, and Tanish.
