Tristan de Boer won first place in the student poster competition at the 19th Canadian Semiconductor Science and Technology Conference for his poster titled "Emergence of a pre-π* Feature in Graphite upon Intercalation: An Experimental and Theoretical Study of Hexafluorophosphate." (link) This work was recently featured in the University of Saskatchewan Discoverty Digest.
