Dinesh is a molecular plant biologist working on viruses that infect pulses crops in Saskatchewan, such as Pea seed-borne mosaic virus (PSbMV). He graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he worked with tomato ringspot virus.
Simin is a Molecular Plant Pathologist. Her interests are rooted in the fields of Molecular Plant Pathology, Microbiology, and the management of pests and diseases with a particular focus on plant viruses and insect vectors, IPM, biological control, and sustainable farming practices. Working at Molecular lab and extension activities across various agricultural sectors have provided her with a deep understanding of the academic and industry's intricacies.
