EcoShores
Enhancing Coastal Climate Resilience Through Nature-Based Solutions
EcoShores is a Canada–Indo-Pacific research and training initiative based at the University of Saskatchewan’s School of Environment and Sustainability. The project supports graduate student placements and international partnerships focused on coastal climate resilience, nature-based solutions, and sustainable shoreline and ecosystem research in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and New Zealand.
Through applied research, training, and knowledge sharing, EcoShores connects Canadian graduate students, faculty, and regional partners to explore climate adaptation, coastal ecosystem restoration, and nature-based solutions across diverse Indo-Pacific contexts.
