Brief Bio
I was born and raised in Abbotsford, BC on a small family farm. IN 2018, I graduated with a bachelors in science with a major in biology. During my undergrad, I helped my family business by vaccinating poultry. To further pursue my interests, I started working in veterinary clinics working wiht poultry, small animals and exotic birds. Currently, I am attending the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, and plan to graduate in the spring of 2022. My goal is to become a poultry veterinarian.
During the summer of 2020, I will be working on a joint project in Abbotsford, BC with Dr. Susantha Gomis and Dr. Neil Ambrose. This project will include studying the intestinal microbiome of broiler chickens and developing a bacteriological monitoring program for commercial broiler hatcheries.
