Authorized users of the food and nutrition lab include:

1. University of Saskatchewan entitites
2. USSU ratified student groups
3. Groups outside of the USASK may be able to rent the facility; contact us for more information

Priority of Use: Permission to use the food and nutrition lab will be scheduled according to the following priortized list:

1. All activities related to the foods and nutrition courses that are within the undergraduate nutrition curriculum.
2. Activities associated with the College of Pharmacy & Nutrition including partners (Saskatchewan Health Authority).
3. University activities hosted by U of S entities and USSU ratified student groups, outside of the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition.
4. Groups external to USASK.

All users of the food and nutrition lab will be required to:

• Identify the supervising faculty/staff member who will be taking responsibility for the designated use of the food lab and all of its participants
• Follow all of the operation and safety protocols outlined in the JSA/SOP 
• Have a minimum of one food safety certified individual supervising food safety in the lab
• Schedule their proposed lab date and times with the Main office
• Complete a cleaning and safety checklist after use
