Background

Zoe is a research assistant and project manager for select projects at the Vatanparast Nutritional Epidemiology Lab. Zoe has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and nutraceutical sciences from the University of Guelph in 2019. She has also obtained a master’s degree in public health from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. Zoe’s master’s thesis focused on investigating the nutritional quality of plant-based diets in Canada and their role in chronic diseases through both a comprehensive scoping review and Canadian Community Health Survey analyses.
