Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan (CFS) is led by a five-member Board of Directors, elected by their fellow producers. The Board sets policies, manages production volumes, and negotiates pricing with industry partners, while representing the province at the national level with Chicken Farmers of Canada (CFC).
CFS supports local communities and sustains a network of feed manufacturers and processing facilities, all dedicated to bringing high-quality, locally produced chicken to tables across Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Chicken Industry Development Fund
The Saskatchewan Chicken Industry Development Fund (SCIDF) plays a major role in research, funding research projects and partnerships that benefit farmers and the broader community.
Since its founding, SCIDF has backed over 30 projects, including work conducted at the University of Saskatchewan.
